Kicking off CrossTell 2018

Two F-16D Fighting Flacons from the 162nd Fighter Wing in Tucson, Ariz. can be seen practicing air-intercept procedures from the window of a KC-135 Stratotanker from the 141st Air Refueling Wing over western Oregon during the Aerospace Control Alert CrossTell training exercise July 24, 2018. CrossTell is a three-day exercise involving multiple Air National Guard units, the Civil Air Patrol, and U.S. Coast Guard rotary-wing air intercept units to conduct training scenarios to replicate airborne intercepts designed to safely escort violators out of restricted airspace.
