141st Air Refueling Wing Airmen and Families,

Good morning to each of you and your families. I hope this message finds you
safe and in good health during this COVID-19 pandemic.

Without a doubt we are living in very dynamic and challenging times as a
Wing, State, Nation, and World. I ask that you continue to balance the
demands of your time so you maintain your health and capability to serve our
Neighbors and Nation in this time of stress and unknown.

I am very proud of your leadership from each Commander, CMSgt, and Leader
throughout our organization. They are diligently working on your behalf to
ensure our operations are uninterrupted and mission assured. They continue
to balance our partnerships with the 92 ARW meeting both Governor Inslee and
MG Daugherty's directives of Staying Home, Staying Healthy, and teleworking
where able while balancing social distancing measures and protocols.

Currently:
1. Gov Inslee has ordered a "Stay Home - Stay Healthy" Proclamation
effective midnight on March 25, 2020. Please visit his website at
www.governor.wa.gov and https://coronavirus.wa.gov for additional
information and a 14-page breakout of "Essential Critical Infrastructure
Workers."
2. Fairchild Air Force Base is in HPCON-C as directed by FAFB Installation
Commander, Col Derek Salmi, 92 ARW/CC. Please refer to our website
https://www.141arw.ang.af.mil for additional guidance and continuous
updates.
3. The 141 ARW is Mission Essential bottom line. We are actively balancing
our telework guidance with mission essential functions to ensure ONE, RC-26,
State Active Duty, and more are mission assured - 24/7.
4. As everyone is aware, The Washington Air National Guard has been
"authorized" to be activated for both Federal and State missions but we have
not actually been called up at this time. That could change in a moment's
notice so remain ready.
5. Please contact your immediate supervisor for any questions regarding
telework and/or temporary employment that you may have.

Lastly, as it has always been true for the men and women of the National
Guard...we are all in this together and together we will defeat this enemy
that is COVID-19. Please be safe, stay healthy, and take care of your
families and neighbors.

Please see MG Daugherty's words below for further information and guidance.

Thank you for your selfless service and leadership.

V/r,

Colonel Gardner

Team:

I continue to be amazed at the way we've adapted to our current way of life.
Thanks to those who are immediately involved in the response, as well as our
colleagues who have found innovative ways to complete our mission while
ensuring social distancing.

As you're likely aware, yesterday Gov. Inslee signed a statewide
proclamation directing people to stay home. It requires you to do your part
and remain at your residence unless you're seeking groceries, medical care
or traveling to an essential business.

As an Emergency Management and Military organization - you are considered
essential.  As field hospitals flow into our state to respond, we may need
to call you in to help.  Those of you who are at work now, please keep six
to ten feet between you.

With that said, I want as many of our employees teleworking as possible. And
for those that hold a position that isn't remote-friendly, work with your
supervisor to develop a solution. Let's be creative and find a way to comply
with the governor's directive, while keeping each other safe.

I can't express my thanks enough. Thank you for your commitment to keeping
our communities safe.

More information about the governor's statewide proclamation for a Stay
Home, Stay Healthy order is available on the State's official COVID-19 website

 Sincerely,

Bret D. Daugherty
