Reserve Components; government agencies; employers;
Veteran & Volunteer Service Organizations; and private
business in support of all military Service members and their
families.
Mission: To establish and facilitate on-going commmunication,
involvement, support, and recognition between Air National
Guard families and the Air National Guard in a partnership that
promotes the best in both.
How: Facilitated through education, outreach services, and
partnerships by leveraging resources, training, and constantly
capitalizing on new capabilities, concepts, and technological
advances.

New Readiness Support Website for Guard/Reserve http://www.militaryreport.com: Families of Guard and Reserve members will soon be able to obtain quality-of-life support information over the Internet to resolve issues while sponsors are away. The American Forces Press Service reports that a Family Readiness Tool Kit will become available October 1 on the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs Website http://www.defenselink.mil/ra. The Tool Kit will list Websites and toll-free numbers for medical and pay assistance, financial management tips, and other information. The site will also contain a sample checklist that describes tasks families should accomplish before sponsors deploy.
